AprilMUSKEGON, MI — Goodwill Industries of West Michigan is pleased to announce the recent hire of April Jendrasiak as the agency’s new Marketing and Communications Director. 

“We are thrilled that April has joined us to contribute her incredible talent, skills, and knowledge, but also her life-long passion for Goodwill,” said Goodwill President and CEO Jeanette Hoyer. “Her vision and enthusiasm for our mission and work inspires all of us.”

Jendrasiak steps down from her role as Producer and Senior Project Manager for Th3rd Coast Digital Solutions of Grand Haven where she effectively managed creative design teams and lead in the development of marketing and communication materials for a variety of clients. Her talents also include strategic planning, budgeting, marketing research, digital advertising, and social media. April previously served as Resources Coordinator for Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity and is also skilled in the areas of fund development, grant writing, donor relations, and event planning. 

Jendrasiak is an active community leader and philanthropist and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Music Alliance. She also serves on the Board of Directors at the West Michigan Symphony — The Block, and previously served as Grants Committee Chair for the Momentum Center for Social Engagement. 

“I am beyond thrilled to be part of such a wonderful organization dedicated to changing lives through the power of work. I look forward to working together collectively with the Goodwill team and our community partners to advance the mission and programming of Goodwill Industries of West Michigan,” Jendrasiak said. 

Jendrasiak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in Nonprofit Administration from Western Michigan University.
