Employee Spotlight: Hilda Thompson

Hilda ThompsonRetail Production Worker,
Years of service: 8

Hilda has been of service to Goodwill Industries of West Michigan for 8 years and brings such joy to her role that it's contagious. When we asked her if she had a role model she responded with, "Myself". We can't help but agree that Hilda is a great role model! Each week during our Wednesday morning huddles, it's Hilda who provides us with an inspirational quote. She probably doesn't realize her impact and that many times, it's her words that carry us through our week.

Hilda provided us with a few words of her own wisdom... "You can't reach what's in front of you until you let go of what's behind you.", "Aim for your dreams but don't lose yourself along the way." When asked if there were any inspirational quotes that have meaning to her she said, "I have learned not to allow rejection to move me."

A few things you may not know about Hilda...

She's a Great-Grandmother, she LOVES to dance, and she encourages anyone who might be struggling or feeling down to KEEP LOOKING UP

Thank you Hilda for all you do! We are proud of you and happy to have you on the team!
