Work Adjustment Program

Work Adjustment Program
Serving persons with little or no work experience - or those who have been out of work for an extended period of time - the intent of this program is to help individuals understand the meaning, value, and demands of work, or to re-establish skills, attitudes, and work behaviors.
The program participant is evaluated at every step in the work adjustment process. As the participant becomes accustomed to the tasks and expectations of the job, they are gradually given more responsibility until they can transition into the community workforce.
Using real work, tailored to match the participant's growth, development and interest, the focus is developing a strong work ethic resulting in cooperative, productive and motivated employees.
